i just found that ironflint bodyswap thing and i'm in love holy shit
i had to go back and read the bodyswap because i forgot what happened in it.

- what i am actually feeling sad about is that nowhere other than discussions with (I THINK @koramberlynne​ although it might have been someone else - but i’m PRETTY sure it was kora? maybe it was @tonguetiedandsqueamish? if it was someone else i apologize a lot.) that when washington gets his body back, he goes on a quest to murder alex, and when alex wakes up he’s like “Well, shit, i better max out my credit cards and empty every bank account i have access to, becuase i am in MAJOR trouble.”

and then there’s the story of washington and his cronies chasing alex across the USA.

at the end alex laughs when washington threatens to kill him becuase i imagine death so much it feels just like a memory. is this where it gets me? the worst person i’ve ever known in front of me? you know very well killing me is merciful and you’re a lot of things but you have ZERO mercy.

(washington does shoot him. he doesn’t feel any better. he still has a lot of work to do. but. that’s a chapter closed. martha, could you..?)
