an image i like: greenhouses alex and george celebrating shabbat together (also i feel like george would enjoy tu bish'vat but)

tu bish'vat is a big washington holiday and everyone thinks he is kind of ridiculous but he’s like fuck it, i’m celebrating the trees! obviously all things are living and should be attended to and are born, and why should they not celebrate it? (alex has never celebrated tu bish'vat before but he can see washington is very serious about it, so when washington starts explaining alex actually listens very intently and learns all about it and takes it very seriously and washington is super touched.)

(also alex doesn’t even bring a book to dinner on shabbat! it’s serious!)
