Greenhouses verse: Hamilton teasing Washington all day in the hope of rough sex, Washington making him ask for what he wants with the words he's so good with
first a touch, across the shoulder, at breakfast. a subtle innuendo. a tease of contact, across the back of his knuckles, as they repot tree in the greenhouse. reading, in the main library and not his own, some particullarly lewd book, the cover visible and in english. washington watches him with soft confusion, with a flicker of darkness in his eyes. he tries to move forward, to touch more, to reply with his innunedo in kind, but hamilton pretends innocence. let it be a game. hamilton has plans and strategies and always moves with intention; this is a game, and there is a goal.
the goal seems to be when they are wished good night, and washington feels the raw edge of his desire hissing under his skin. he does not usually want, like this. but he wants now. he wants now, and he moves with intention. he will play games. he has goals.
hamilton undoes his clothes and pulls him close. his expression is all teasing spite. washington pushes him into the bed, holds his wrists in his hands.
“tell me what you want, you rascal,” he says. hamilton groans at him and splays his body, presenting himself, like he likes. washington resists. “no, alexander. you have told me nothing of your game but i have played. now you shall play with me, and you shall suffer.”
