that asshole @foxnewsfuckfest gave me some sad feelings and now i must force myself to think happy greenhouse things like quietly gardening with eachother while alex casually shit-talks tjeffs and washington should tell him to be more respectful but it’s actually pretty funny

washington resisted the urge to smile which crept up at the corner of his mouth. hamilton pulled on his workgloves and spread the fertilizer into the loamy soil. “i am sure, as always, that lord jefferson has the best interests of the country at heart.”

“best interests. of the country. lord jefferson,” the name was sneered, “can barely understand the best interests of his estate. he shall be in debt soon. i believe there is a publisher near the debtor’s prison i shall need to discuss matters with, at that time.”

“well,” washington said, consideringly, “one’s interests must be looked after.”

“that they must,” hamilton said, and winked at him.
