hamilton tugs him away from his desk, where he’s lost in his head about some new and exciting way another man has managed to bring up things that should be forgotten. hamilton kicks off his clothes and leaves the fine fabric in the ball on his bedroom floor. hamilton spreads himself naked and bare on washington’s bed, even pulling the ribbon from his hair and letting himself look like a painting.

“think not of this,” Hamilton says, “instead, attend to me.”

it is so thoroughly and completely hamilton that a chuckle manages to force itself from washington’s lips. so he does, while hamilton lays there. kisses his mouth and his stomach and his legs, attends to his eager prick, presses his fingers inside. hamilton decides against contributing, becuase somehow he knows, in his way, how to do the most.
